Stress busting bath salts

Yields2 Servings
What you need
1/4 cup best quality sea salt or pink himalayan rock salt (the higher the mineral content the better)
 2 cups epsom salts
 1/2 cup baking soda
40 drops essential oils of your choice (approx depending on your combination), see the bottom for some of my favourites
Directions
1

If your salt is coarse like my pink himalayan rock salt then blend it in a magimix or nutribullet until it is as fine as you can get it. Then add in the other dry ingredients and give them another whizz so they are all evenly mixed. Lastly add in your essential oils and blitz again to make sure everything is thoroughly blended together. Then spoon into a glass storage jar with a firm lid.

This is my current combination which has pink himalayan rock salt and rose essential oils in as my salt and essential oil choices for the month. I use an old kilner jar from the kitchen (well scrubbed first) but if you have a more pretty jar thats even better ✨
N.B. It's a good idea to drink a glass of water before, during and after your bath to keep properly hydrated while you detox and relax.

Some of my favourites are:-
Peppermint, sage and eucalyptus helps with my migraines.
Sweet orange is uplifting.
Lavender is calming and relaxing.
Rose helps with low mood and anxiety.
Ginger aids digestive issues and feeling nauseous, great when feeling travel sick or any other kind.
Eucylptus and Mint for colds, congestion and headaches.
Rosemary is great for memory fog, headaches, digestions and aches and pains and is useful around exam time.
Tea Tree oil as a natural antiseptic is good for skin issues and healing. Great when you have a bladder infection or post partum.
Frankincense helps with inflammation and is a great mood lifter.

This is an easy starting point to bath salt remedies so try other combinations that you fancy too depending on what you have to hand as just about anything goes.

N.B. If you have a health condition to consider before using a bath salt remedy then do ask your Doctor first.
